Royal marines to raise Air Ambulance funds

The Royal Marines Commando Challenge will be raising funds for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust and Help for Heroes.
Last year £225,000 was raised for charities by the 4,000 competitors taking up the challenge. 

The 2008 event takes place on Woodbury Common, near Exeter, on October 11-12. The Devon Air Ambulance Trust needs to raise at least £2.2m each year.
