Hotel to host events in aid of Air Ambulance £1 appeal

The Beaufort Park Hotel, New Brighton, is in the process of organising an events programme to raise awareness and funds for the Wales Air Ambulance's new £1 appeal to upgrade its current fleet of helicopters.

The appeal is encouraging as many people as possible across Wales to donate £1 each to fund a fleet of three new helicopters, which will cost £1 million a year to run. The helicopters will be based at Caernarfon, Swansea and Welshpool, but their services will be deployed across Wales.

Staff at the hotel have already organised a race night, to be held on Friday, April 11, along with other events throughout the year.

The highlight of the fundraising will be an exclusive gold themed summer ball, which will be held on Friday, July 25.

Sue Warnock, general manager, said: "We are pledging our support to the Wales Air Ambulance and hope to make as many people as possible aware of this essential service."
A HOTEL will hold a series of charity events to help with a new appeal launched by the Welsh Air Ambulance.
